1. Scope of Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, these Terms apply to all orders and form the agreement between CTN and the customer together with:

– applicable price lists

– order documents

– order confirmations

– and any documents referenced therein

In the event of any discrepancy, the order confirmation shall prevail.

2. Use of Website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not:

– misuse, hack, or disrupt the website

– copy or use content for commercial purposes without permission

– attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access if misuse is detected.

3. Products & Professional Use Disclaimer

CTN products are designed primarily for professional use. All information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. CTN products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

The user/operator is responsible for:

– proper training and use of equipment

– compliance with local laws and regulations

– following all safety instructions, protocols, and manuals

4. Orders & Contract Formation

A quotation or estimate does not constitute a binding agreement.

A contract is formed only when:

– an order is confirmed in writing by CTN, and

– any agreed deposit has been received

Unless otherwise agreed, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required before production or delivery begins.

5. Pricing & Taxes

– Prices do not include delivery costs unless stated otherwise

– Prices do not include taxes or duties outside EU VAT

– The buyer is responsible for any applicable taxes, customs duties, or import fees

We reserve the right to adjust pricing where:

– production costs increase

– order specifications change

– expedited or special delivery is requested

6. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

– the remaining balance must be paid within 30 days of invoice

– full payment must be completed prior to delivery

For webshop purchases, payment is made at checkout using supported methods. Payments are processed by Paytrail Oyj, a licensed payment service provider.

Late payments may result in:

– interest charges

– collection costs

– suspension or cancellation of delivery

7. Delivery & Risk

We aim to deliver within agreed timeframes, but delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure).

Risk transfers to the customer:

– upon dispatch, or

– upon delivery, regardless of receipt

Customers are responsible for ensuring correct delivery details.

8. Inspection & Claims

Customers must inspect goods upon delivery. Any defects or shortages must be reported in writing within 14 days of discovery. Transport-related damages must be handled with the carrier or insurance provider.

9. Warranty

CTN provides a 12-month factory warranty from the date of delivery.

The warranty covers:

– replacement parts and components

The warranty does not cover:

– misuse, improper handling, or negligence

– incorrect installation or maintenance

For distributors/importers:

– warranty includes parts and shipping

– local costs (customs, installation, etc.) are the customer’s responsibility

10. Returns & Consumer Rights

Private consumers (as defined under Finnish Consumer Protection Law) have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of delivery.

Conditions:

– products must be unused except for inspection

– returns must be notified in writing

CTN reserves the right to reduce refunds if products show signs of use or damage.

This clause does not apply to B2B customers.

11. Use, Safety & Compliance

Customers must:

– follow all operating instructions and manuals

– comply with health and safety regulations

– ensure proper maintenance and professional use

Failure to comply may result in loss of warranty and liability.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

– CTN is not liable for indirect or consequential damages

– total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product

Nothing in these Terms limits rights under mandatory applicable law.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, branding, and product materials, is owned by CTN or its licensors.

No content may be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.

CTN retains all intellectual property rights related to its products, including software.

14. Changes to Products & Terms

We reserve the right to:

– modify product specifications without prior notice (without reducing quality)

– update these Terms at any time

Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

15. Third-Party Services

Orders may be processed and fulfilled by logistics partners. By placing an order, you agree that necessary information may be shared for delivery purposes. CTN is not responsible for third-party websites or services linked from this site.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in Finnish courts.
